All of us might sometimes wake up tired, it is normal and you can have a cup of coffee or tea to fix it. However, if it happens regularly, you need to figure out what is the reason and how to prevent it.

Let’s have a look at several common causes that might lead you to wake up tired!

Blue light

Blue light is known as any artificial lighting emitting blue wavelengths. It comes from any electronic devices around us, such as laptop screens, smartphones, tablets, etc.

During daylight, blue light can boost our mood and wakefulness. On the other hand, it might prevent you from falling asleep at night as it discourages our body from releasing melatonin – a hormone that helps to control our sleep-wake cycle. You might not get good-quality sleep and wake up tired in the morning after.

So, the suggestion is that you should avoid exposure to the device’s screen for around 2 hours before sleep. Or you can also turn on your phone’s night shift and use dim lights in your bedroom.

Sleep environment

A poor sleep environment is one of the most popular factors resulting in poor quality sleep, as well as a tired morning. Your sleep environment is created by different factors; however, you will find these components below extremely important.

Mattress

If you wake up with aching body parts, especially in your back, your mattress might be the reason. Researches and trusted sources have stated that a mattress with medium firmness is ideal for your body. Both too-soft mattresses and too-firm mattresses are not recommended.

You should consider a high-quality mattress that is able to support your whole body and brings you the most comfortable feeling. Also, you will have to replace your mattress every 7 years to have a clean sleep environment and ensure product quality.

Temperature

If you pay attention, you might realize that it is easier to fall asleep in a cool place rather than a hot one. So if your bedroom temperature is too high, you might toss and turn and suffer from a bad night’s sleep.

Our recommendation is that you can set the temperature a little bit low. A room of 18 to 20.5 degrees Celcius is proven to be an ideal environment for sleep.

Noise

Even if you are the type of person who finds it easy to sleep when your TV is on, noise still has such an impact on your sleep. Scientists have pointed out that you should keep your bedroom silent as much as possible while sleeping. You will have a deeper sleep and avoid waking up at midnight.

An ideal sleep environment would be the key for you to wake up fresh in the morning. You should select a high-quality mattress and prevent any factor like blue light or noise from affecting your sleep quality. We wish you good nights and sweet dreams!
